The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has designed its strategy correlatively with its journey since the establishment of the Union. It elaborated its vision and worked on harnessing proactive diplomacy to achieve progress in the country's foreign policy priorities and protect national interests, in addition to providing pioneering and outstanding services, fuelled by its keenness to provide distinguished services to UAE citizens wherever they are and to residents, visitors and diplomats, as well as institutions and companies. Work teams in the ministry have spared no effort to design innovative and proactive services.

Over the past few months, the ministry was recognized by the leadership of the country to become a model of success and excellence. In March 2022, the Ministry was dubbed "Leading Federal Entity (ministry with more than 500 employees)", and "Best Entity for Youth Empowerment" by the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award 2022. A number of the Ministry's high officials were decorations for their excellence in the performance of their duties. In September 2021, the ministry ranked among the top 5 government agencies in digital services as part of an evaluation of the performance of the federal government, the efficiency of its services and accessibility to customers at any time and anywhere.

As part of its values, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation pursues the promotion of a culture of innovation, flexibility, foresight and the development of a sense of initiative and responsibility in all areas of work. It has endeavoured to enhance the quality of life for employees and customers by providing a healthy and positive work environment and proactive and digital services.

Here, I would like to draw attention to an essential element in achieving excellence: trust in the team. The leadership's confidence in us is great and its hopes for us are many. The message that the country has always sent out in all its exceptional initiatives is that there is no place for the word "impossible" in the UAE's dictionary of the UAE. From this standpoint, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has placed its trust in its cadres and its youth, and our hopes for them are limitless. They work hand in hand with diplomats, administrators, and seasoned experts who are highly qualified and capable, and actively participate in institutional innovation and in shaping the future of the Ministry, which has a positive impact on comprehensive development as a result of innovative initiatives and approaches.

The Ministry has sought to stimulate and encourage innovation at all levels of the institutional hierarchy to make it part of our daily lives. Innovation in the workplace does not have a specific time in time. Rather, it is about practices and cultures that inspire and constantly engage everyone to reach sustainability. It is a wheel which, whenever turned, opens up horizons for excellence. Advancement and excellence in institutional performance require determination and coordinated collective efforts at all levels of the institutional hierarchy. This means that each individual within the system works at the pace of a single team towards the desired strategic goals.
