Non-Benefit Public Associations play a pivotal role in accelerating the process of sustainable development, and contribute directly to the provision of services, benefits and programs targeting UAE citizens and residents. They also contribute to instilling the values of participation and social responsibility and finding solutions to related social issues and challenges reflecting positively on the lives of individuals and well-being of the society.

The Ministry of Community Development, in turn, is keen to empower Non-Benefit Public Associations sector, by developing the services provided, in cooperation with partners in the relevant local authorities, and creating an integrated legislative and regulatory environment that enables employees of Non-Benefit Public Associations to perform their roles towards the society in line with the vision of "We are the Emirates" 2031 and the aspirations of the "UAE Centennial" to make the UAE community the most prosperous society by 2071.
