The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is making significant strides in enhancing government operations by adopting the " Zero Government Bureaucracy Program". In collaboration with the Prime Minister's Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, a workshop was organized, attended by H.E. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Advisor to the UAE President and Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University, along with several academic and administrative leaders, college deans, and department's directors.

This initiative aligns with UAEU's vision to keep pace with the rapid advancements in modern technologies and apply them across various areas of government work. The Zero Government Bureaucracy Program aims to simplify and reduce administrative procedures in government entities, thereby improving work efficiency and facilitating service delivery to citizens and residents. This approach fosters a creative work environment in government, attracting innovative and smart ideas.

UAEU aspires to lead by embracing artificial intelligence systems and innovative technical solutions. This strategic vision contributes to eliminating bureaucratic processes, reducing the negative impacts of bureaucracy, and enhancing the quality of government services. Additionally, the university seeks to keep up with competitive capabilities and move towards global standards across its various institutions.

During the workshop, Consultant Hisham Amiri, Coordinator of the "Zero Government Bureaucracy Program" at the Prime Minister's Office, delivered a presentation outlining the program's scope, requirements, and associated conditions, along with the stages of program evaluation and their impact. Salem Belyouha, Director, Government Services Assessment Department, also discussed the detailed solutions and standards for evaluating the program, as well as the development of new solutions to ensure the program's success at all levels.
